How this stream works in France.
The DEA stream (déchets d éléments d ameublement) covers domestic and professional furniture, mattresses, sofas, chairs, bedding, tables, storage units, and most loose home decor with a structural function. Two eco-organisms operate: Ecomaison (mostly domestic) and Valdelia (mostly professional). The scope was widened in 2023 to capture additional categories.
