How this stream works in France.
The WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) stream covers all six product categories defined under French law: temperature exchange equipment, screens, lamps, large equipment, small equipment, and small IT/telecom equipment. Two eco-organisms share the market: Ecosystem and Ecologic. Marketplaces are legally required to verify that third-party sellers have a valid IDU before listing products in scope.
